When we discuss the fact that
so many people
have their philosophies
backwards-
that
friendship should come before love,
and that's the way
things used to be,
I can't help but feel
just the slightest bit hopeful
y'know?
Maybe,
someday,
you'll see me differently.
But today
was still beautiful.
